(KSL News) A man suspected of stabbing his girlfriend is behind bars this morning.
Joshua McCleery has been running from police for weeks. Last night, Sandy city police received complaints of a suspicious man wandering around a neighborhood. When an officer went to check things out, he spotted McCleery.
The officer arrested McCleery on an warrant for aggravated assault. Investigators say three weeks ago, McCleery and his girlfriend got into a fight and McCleery stabbed her in the chest.
The woman sustained minor injuries.
