OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- A Justice Court judge who wrote a love poem to a court administrator has been cleared of wrongdoing by the Utah Judicial Conduct Commission.
The woman is speaking up after the panel decided against taking any discipline against Weber County Justice Court Judge Craig Storey.
The Standard-Examiner of Ogden says Storey wrote in 2007 to the woman, "I'd love to harvest your sweet grapes, make intoxicating wine."
Former Weber County treasurer Nila Dayton says Storey is "beating himself up" over the poem.
Dayton testified in the case Aug. 4 that Storey knew he made a mistake, but that the woman enjoyed making the judge blush.
The Standard-Examiner says neither Storey nor his lawyer returned calls for comment.
