WEST VALLEY CITY — Police are requesting the public’s help in identifying three individuals wanted in connection with an armed robbery of a convenience store early Sunday morning.

Authorities responded to a report of a robbery at a 7-Eleven located at 2471 S. 7200 West at approximately 1:30 a.m., according to West Valley police.

Police said the individuals entered the store and robbed the clerk at gunpoint. They did not say what the robbers took from the store before fleeing.

No descriptions of the individuals were given, but police posted photos from security footage with the hopes someone might recognize the individuals involved. All three were wearing dark clothing, gloves and bandanas over their faces.

Anyone with information about the men is encouraged to call West Valley police at 801-840-4000 or send a private message to the department’s Facebook page. Tips can be submitted anonymously, police added.
