SALT LAKE CITY — At a time when many Americans are expressing dissatisfaction with their options for the upcoming presidential election, it could be time to consider a new option — artificial intelligence.
“It’s time you let robots run the country,” Siri says in a new video from HighSpeedInternet.com. “They work 24-7. They’re well-educated. They are excellent problem solvers. And they’re way more popular than Trump and Clinton.”
She makes a compelling argument, but how would Siri and Cortana hold up in a presidential debate? The team at HighSpeedInternet.com decided to find out, asking Apple and Microsoft’s creations about their political leanings in a video.
Watching the duo’s responses is entertaining, with both Siri and Cortana suspiciously dodging pointed questions at times.
The team behind the video said they aren’t ready to declare a victor quite yet, but in a poll on their website Siri is currently in the lead with 47 percent of the vote. Cortana has 29 percent of the vote and 13 percent of respondents said they wouldn’t want either to be president.
The vote will remain open for six more days. Let us know who you think should win in the original poll and in our comment section.
