LEHI — Four people were taken to the hospital Monday afternoon after an SUV hit a passenger car at the intersection of State Street and Main Street around 2 p.m., officials said.
The crash occurred when a silver passenger car turned in front of a black SUV, and the SUV hit the car, according to Lehi Fire Department.
The woman, a passenger in the sedan, was flown by helicopter to a hospital in critical condition, said Lehi Fire Battalion Chief Tim Robinson. Three others in the crash, including both drivers, were taken to hospitals by ambulance. Their conditions were not immediately released.
Lehi police were still investigating Monday afternoon what led to the crash. Westbound State Street was closed down for about 40 minutes while officers investigated the scene.
