If you've believed you weren't pretty, skinny, or fit enough at any point in your life then it may feel very difficult to change how you view your body. Women hear a lot of well-meaning messages about being beautiful at any size and about being beautiful flaws and all. While this message certainly has great intention, when women view themselves based on how pretty or skinny they are or how pretty or skinny they're NOT they continue to reinforce the message that what they look like is the most important thing about them. Host Lindsay Aerts talks with the co-founder of the Utah non-profit Beauty Redefined about why women need to see themselves as more than bodies to be viewed. They discuss how to fix a broken body image. They discuss why you are more than what you look like and why your body is an instrument not an ornament. The Mom Show on KSL is hosted by Lindsay Aerts.
