Scout in wheelchair gives back to Primary Children's Medical Center

Mike R.

"Tucker is a kid in a wheelchair with spina bifida. He is completing his Eagle Scout project to benefit Primary Children's Medical Center. For his project, he set a goal of organizing a donation drive of collecting 300 toys for sick children at Primary's because he wanted to give back to the hospital that saved his life. Community support has been overwhelming for Tucker. Toys have been pouring in. He set up a Facebook page called Tucker Rady Eagle Service Project. Even complete strangers have been sending in donations. He has received Amazon boxes of toys from complete strangers and tons of donations from people who know him. He blew his goal of 300 toys out of the water by collecting more than 2,000 toys."

Boy with autism gets personal piano concert after 14th surgery

Lindsay V.

"This is a video of my husband (who is a gifted pianist) playing for my son who just had his fourteenth surgery and is only 8 years old. Mason is a high-functioning boy with autism who LOVES music and is usually the life of the party, except when he is in the hospital. He didn’t want my husband to stop playing! Really precious."
