NOT THE ZOO — Evolution and survival of the fittest has given some animals the wherewithal to use tools.
Chimpanzees, crows and sea otters are a few great examples, but that doesn't mean every animal is capable of learning how to use tools, even if they wish to. Take for example the ostrich in this video. It's clearly doing its best to "help" the man work on his car. But like a toddler, the well-intentioned helping isn't usually a help at all. Really the ostrich (and many toddlers) is just reacting to something shiny and new and wants to be as involved as possible.
This brings us to the confession time for this article because really this whole ostrich talk is just a way to get at the truest heart gem of the clip — the wheezing laugh of the man behind the camera.
This kind of weezy, hysterical laugh is a true secret of the viral video world. Because every time it shows up in a video, that clip is at least 50% funnier.
It's the type of thing where someone is laughing so hard you start to wonder if he's going to pass out, yet it's delightful every time.
Yesterday's Have You Seen This?
P.S. There's no word on why the ostrich is in this environment in the first place, but we wish it all the best.
