WEST WENDOVER, Nev. (AP) - A 41-year-old Utah man has been arrested on identity theft charges in northeast Nevada.

The Elko Daily Free Press reports that West Wendover police responded to a call about suspicious activity at a local hotel about 4 p.m. Friday.

After obtaining a search warrant, police say they found extensive evidence in the unoccupied hotel room regarding the manufacture of fake identifications along with photographs of the suspect, Christopher Pace of Sandy, Utah.

They found Pace at another business later Friday and arrested him on six counts of identity theft. He was booked into the Elko County Jail with bail set at $120,000.

Police say their investigation is continuing and they expect to make additional arrests.
