PRODIGYVILLE — Kids manage to surprise us every day.
My 2-year-old managed to ride her tricycle down our driveway without falling over and dying, and I was pretty proud. Then I saw this video and realized how average my kids really are.
This is Feng E, a 10-year-old musician who isn't just a good ukulele player, but a phenomenal one. When you see this video you won't be saying, "Wow. He's pretty good for a pre-teen." You're going to be saying, "This kid is phenomenal and better at playing the ukulele than I am at anything in life."
Don't get too down on yourself.
Sunday's Have You Seen This?
Feng E has his own YouTube channel where he embarrasses us mere mortals even more by showing off his skills on the guitar as well as the ukulele. Talented isn't a fair enough word to describe what this boy does.
Check out this video that is almost hard to comprehend, not just because of Feng E's age, but because it doesn't seem possible to get that kind of sound out of a ukulele. Enjoy his covers of "Classical Gas," "Blackbird" and "Beat It" and then try to go do something with your life.
