Kind donations at a lemonade stand

Brittany J.

“My 7-year-old son was out this afternoon doing a lemonade stand and he sold someone a $.50 cup of lemonade and this generous stranger gave him $100, told him to keep the change. This person made his day, and I think it is worth giving them some praise.”

Spreading kind messages

Janice W.

“My husband was out walking and saw sidewalk chalk greetings such as ‘have a good day,’ etc. on Fleming Drive (about 2nd North and 9th East in American Fork.) There are chalk pieces left for you to add your own greeting. This is something that is sending love and light out into the world. … Something every community could be doing.”

A helpful neighbor

Norma B.

“I have a neighbor that has helped me (I am an older widow) and he is helping another neighbor plant his garden and other things, and he is just there to help anyone. I would like to see him get some recognition. He saw that I had some dry spots in my lawn and he determined that I needed quite a few new sprinkler heads which he happily replaced— which took quite some time digging them out and replacing them. My other neighbor had back surgery and (he) planted a garden for him and put in a watering system for him. He is just a caring and helpful person and I am certainly happy for his help.”
