THE PORCH — It's often said that this is the most wonderful time of the year, and I tend to agree. I am not sick of the snow yet, I love the festive decorations and cheap sales, as well as the time with family.

But even with all of those things, I think it's the kindness of other people that truly make the holiday season the most wonderful time of the year. People tend to be more charitable this time of year, and those receiving the kindness tend to be more grateful. This video is a perfect example of that.

It's pretty simple, a woman puts out snacks and drinks on her porch for delivery drivers to enjoy — and enjoy, this driver did.

This guy drops off a package on the doorstep and then notices the bounty. To say I adore his reaction would be a lie because the word isn't strong enough. The man cannot keep his joy in and just starts going on and on (to no one but himself) about how amazing the offering is and how excited he is about the spread.

If that wasn't enough, the driver eventually dances his way off the porch. I challenge you to not let it make your day.

It's people like the woman who put out the snacks and this man, who is truly grateful for it, that make this the most wonderful time of the year. Let's learn something from this video and look for opportunities to brighten someone else's day with kindness and service or by expressing our gratitude for the thoughtful things other people do us.
