CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Dec. was up .25 cent to 3.8950 a bushel; Dec. corn gained 1.50 cents at 3.51 a bushel; Dec. oats advanced 10.25 cents $2.0950 a bushel; while Jan. soybeans rose 4.25 cents to $10.4775 a bushel.
Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. December live cattle was up 2.03 cents at $1.0985 a pound; January feeder cattle rose 2.53 cents to $1.2685 a pound; while December lean hogs gained 1.87 cents at $.5337 a pound.
