SOUTH SALT LAKE — Delays have mostly disappeared on northbound I-15 after a crash near 3300 South backed traffic up all the way to Midvale Wednesday morning, KSL Traffic reports.
The crash occurred just after 3300 South and just before the I-80 East split about 8:30 a.m. Only the far right shoulder was open to traffic when officials first closed the road, but all lanes except the HOV reopened about a half hour later, according to KSL Traffic.
The freeway remained a "parking lot" for a while, but everything after 5300 South is "all clear" as of 9:45 a.m., KSL Traffic said. There are other delays, however, from 7200 South to 5300 South because of a second crash near 5800 South.
The cause of the first crash and details about any injuries have not yet been released.
