MURRAY — A Pleasant View man has been charged with distributing semi-nude photos of his ex-girlfriend in an attempt to get her to talk to him.

Taylor Ray Thompson, 33, was charged Friday in 3rd District Court with two counts of distribution of pornography, a third-degree felony, and two counts of stalking, a class A misdemeanor.

A woman reported to police that after breaking up with her boyfriend of two years in March, he began to repeatedly send text messages, call her, and show up at her work.

The woman repeatedly told Thompson to stop contacting her and changed her cellphone number. Thompson then sent numerous messages to her mother, charging documents state.

"I'm not going to stop 'til I talk to her," Thompson allegedly wrote in a text message in April.

The texts and phone calls allegedly continued into November. On Nov. 3, Thompson texted the mother a picture of her daughter's exposed breast and threatened to send that photo and others to everyone he knew and to everyone on his ex-girlfriend's phone contact list, the charges state.

That same day, a friend of the woman also received a text of the photo.

"I'm not lying half of Salt Lake will have them and even some people in Cali," Thompson texted, according to prosecutors. "I mean I will have friends mass send them to there (sp) friends it will go on forever."

A $10,000 warrant for Thompson's arrest was issued Friday.
