SALT LAKE CITY — The featured Wednesday's Child of the week is a brother and sister who have very different personalities but who have an equal desire for a family.
Trent, 14, has a dream of skydiving. He recently visited the I-Fly skydiving simulator in Ogden, and he was a natural.
Trent's sister Jaide is 11-years-old, and she has a more cautious personality while Trent is more outgoing. Jaide loves art, and Trent loves to act.
The siblings have been in foster care for three years, and they say they would like to both become part of a permanent family.
"It's horrible," Trent said. "It separates you from everyone else. And, a lot of people don't understand that. I want to be adopted to the perfect family."
