PROVO — Three children are in state custody after police searched a suspected drug house and found dozens of heroin balloons.

Provo police served a search warrant Monday at about 6:30 p.m. at 994 W. 100 South. They searched Hector Valladares, who was leaving the residence at the time, and found 22 heroin balloons in Valledares' possession.

Valledares told officers he had just bought the heroin from Christian Jensen, who lived there. Upon searching the house, police found 34 heroin balloons under a mattress in Jensen's room. They also found digital scales, tin foil, pipes and empty balloons.

Three children, ages 6, 4 and 3, were removed from the home and placed in state custody.

Police said they also found heroin in a jacket belonging to Judy Jensen, who resides in the house. Judy Jensen admitted to being a heroin user.

Three children, ages 6, 4 and 3, were removed from the home and placed in state custody. Monday's warrant was the third served at the house in the last three years that resulted in drugs being found, according to police.

Christian Jensen was arrested on suspicion of distribution of heroin, possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia, all in a drug-free zone. The zone in this case was a church building of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 100 N. 900 West.
