THE WOODS ‐ Chances are your news feed is full of not-so-calming things right now.

This year has been tough, and the hits keep on coming. Sometimes it may even feel like gloom and doom are the only things happening in the world.

But when you take a step back, it’s a little easier to see all the good things that are happening too, including people changing their communities for the better and giving a hand to those in need.

Even as you find the good, sometimes it’s necessary to shut your brain off for just a few moments to reset and bring back the calm.

This video may help.

The clip simply shows a dog and its human playing a game of "keep off the ground" with a balloon. It’s a game that many of us played as children. It’s even an activity we can’t help playing as adults if a balloon is produced, or if a beach ball shows up at the stadium during a game.

It seriously brings on a nice moment of zen to see the dog so happily bounce the balloon on its nose and into the air with pure joy. And, if you listen closely, you can even hear its teeth clack with every bounce, adding a calming rhythmic sound to the mix.

Everyone all together — deep breath in, deep breath out.

Now let’s show 2020 who’s boss.
