LONDON (AP) — Kenneth Branagh has assembled a troupe including Judi Dench, Rob Brydon and "Game of Thrones" star Richard Madden for a season of plays under the banner of the Kenneth Brangah Theatre Company.
Branagh, who recently directed the fairy-tale film "Cinderella," will direct or star in all five of the plays, staged at London's Garrick Theatre over a year from October.
Branagh will appear alongside Dench in William Shakespeare's "The Winter's Tale" and will star as an aging music hall performer in John Osborne's "The Entertainer," a role made famous by British acting icon Laurence Olivier.
The company said Friday that Branagh will also appear in Terence Rattigan's comedy "Harlequinade" and Francis Veber's farce "The Painkiller."
Madden and Lily James, both stars in "Cinderella," will reunite in Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet."
