Carole Mikita Reporting In a couple of days, the film world focuses its lenses on Park City, Utah for the Sundance Film Festival. We have some reminders of how to get around if you have tickets and what to do if you don't.
The first thing you need is an '07 film guide. You can pick one up at Trolley Square, Rose Wagner or Broadway. It has descriptions of the films and when and where they're playing.
We figure some of you need a reminder of what to do when and if you don't have tickets yet. Don't panic, you can still get into some screenings.
Hundreds of reporters and photographers, a welcome from Robert Redford and star-studded red carpet screenings begin the Sundance Film Festival.
If you want to be part of all this but you don't have tickets, you can go online to purchase or show up at 8:00 am at box offices in Salt Lake or Park City and ask for day-of-show tickets. Or go to a theatre two hours before a screening and get on the wait list.
Laynee Jones: "You get a wait list number...you can go have a cup of coffee, something to eat, walk around...then you show up 30 minutes before the screening starts and you line up according to your number and if there are seats available, we'll sell you a ticket."

Best place to park in Park City is behind Main St. along Swede Alley at the China Bridge Parking Garage. From there, just walk or walk to the transit center and pick up a festival shuttle that will take you to any festival venue.
Laynee Jones: "They run about every ten to fifteen minutes and if you don't know where you're going, or you don't have a map just show up at a shuttle stop, and there'll be a transportation liaison there, that will tell you the fastest way to get around."
Very important to remember during the festival that one side of Main Street is for delivery trucks only, and another side for parking. But, first come, first serve...
Yes, it looks like the festival banners are up and the out-of-towners have begun to arrive.... and if you're wondering what to wear, black is best, don't forget the cell phone.
Maybe you're not even going to make it to any screenings, but you're curious. On the Sundance website link located at the right, you can see film clips, filmmaker interviews, and short films in your own home.
