SALT LAKE CITY — People in the HiLo area east of Beaver County have been advised to evacuate due to a wildfire in the area.

The National Weather Service announced the evacuation advisory that originated with Beaver County Emergency Management on X.

Utah Fire Info has named the new fire the Cottonwood Fire. As of Monday night, Utah Fire Info reports the blaze to be 50 acres.
