SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah County Sheriff's Office is searching for an injured paraglider who crashed in Provo Canyon Sunday evening.

Sgt. Ray Ormond said a man crashed his paraglider near the base of Mount Timpanogos about 6 p.m.

Two helicopters were searching for the man.

Ormond said the man is injured but rescuers don't yet know the extent of his injuries.
