UTAH COUNTY - A new report shows college graduates in Utah County might want to stay there to look for work.
Forbes Magazine ranks the Provo-Orem area as the best college town for job growth.
The report says 62 U.S. college towns sustained job growth between March 2008 and March 2009. The Provo-Orem area has 3 percent job growth, while the national average is a 3.5 percent job loss.
The Daily Herald reports the only other city to come within half a percentage point was Morgantown, W.Va., at 2.91 percent.
The president of the Provo-Orem Chamber of Commerce, Steve Densley, told the Herald Utah Valley might be faring well because technology and nutracuetical businesses there are doing better than most, and many start-up companies are hiring.
