It’s a day to celebrate puppy breath, fluffy puppies and all their fun antics. Puppies are known to give unconditional love and so much joy; that is when they are not chewing on your favorite pair of shoes or phone cord.
Though it's not actually an official national holiday, National Puppy Day was created in 2006 by pet and family lifestyle expert and animal advocate Colleen Paige. The day is also meant to help support adoptions and educate potential adopters about puppy mills.
