Motorcyclist killed on Mountain View Corridor identified

WEST VALLEY CITY — A man who was killed in a motorcycle crash on Mountain View Corridor Sunday was identified Monday morning, officials said.

Taylorsville resident Leonard Rich, 57, died after colliding with a car at 6200 S. Mountain View Corridor Sunday afternoon, West Valley police said.

Rich was traveling westbound on 6200 South around 4:20 p.m. when the accident occured, police said. Police believe Rich ran a red light and hit the passenger car, which was driven by a 58-year-old woman who was uninjured.
