OGDEN — A man was hospitalized after a motorcycle accident in Ogden Saturday, police said.

At around 2 p.m., a black Jaguar was attempting to pull into the Vasa Fitness center on 12th Street and Washington Ave. At the same time, a 49-year-old motorcyclist was heading westbound and tried to enter the parking lot. The motorcycle hit the vehicle and the motorcyclist was thrown off from his bike, Ogden Police Lt. Jake Sube said.

The man was not wearing a helmet and was taken to the hospital in critical condition, police said. No one else was hurt in the incident.
