SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake County Democratic Party has announced a list of candidates to replace Rep. Jackie Biskupski, who resigned earlier this month.

The candidates are: Nikki Boyer, Brian Doughty, Charles Kimball, William McDonnell, Dimitrios Moumoulidis and Mark Towner.

County Democratic 1st Vice Chair Richard Jaramillo made the announcement Tuesday. Jaramillo is presiding over the replacement selection in lieu of party chairwoman Mary Bishop due to a conflict of interest.

The election by the delegates of District 30 to appoint Biskupski's replacement will take place at the Utah Democratic Party Organizing Convention on July 16 at the Hilton hotel in Salt Lake City.
