SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Salt Lake County residents will have a chance today to voice their opinions about community issues.

Mayor Peter Corroon is opening his doors to the public. Residents will be able to discuss issues of public interest.

The open-door sessions are a priority for the mayor, giving him the chance to meet with people who have a difficult time scheduling an appointment.

The meetings will be granted to people on a first come first served basis. They'll take place at 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the mayor's office, which is located in the Salt Lake County Government Center.
