MURRAY -- If you're looking to give your heart away this Valentine's holiday, the Humane Society has just the dog in mind.

Meet Spunky, who literally wears his heart on his sleeve -- or rather, his back.

Spunky is a 9-month-old pit bull who has a small heart-shaped marking in his fur on his back just below his neck. He was dropped off at the Humane Society, and soon after workers noticed his loving temperament.

With his "heart" marking, Spunky is the perfect Valentine's dog.

Spunky and many other animals are in need of loving homes. If you're interested in pet adoption, contact the Humane Society of Utah.
