(KSL News) -- The condition of a baby delivered after her mother was shot and killed has worsened.

The baby girl was born by emergency C-section Thursday morning. Her mother, Darla Marie Woundedhead, died after being shot at a Salt Lake motel.

Today the baby is listed in "extremely critical condition" according to LDS hospital.

One person has been arrested in connection with the shooting.
