OREM, Utah (AP) -- Organizers of Utah's LDS Film Festival say more than 100 films from LDS filmmakers or with LDS themes are on tap for its ninth annual installment.
The festival opens Wednesday and runs through Saturday at the SCERA Center for the Arts in Orem. Tickets are on sale online or at the center box office.
The opening night film premiere features John Lyde's "You're So Cupid" at 7 p.m.
In addition to screenings of films and documentaries, the festival features discussion forums, script writing competitions and a 24-hour filmmaking marathon.
Also on the 2010 schedule is a 10th anniversary screening of the original print of "God's Army," a film by Richard Dutcher.
Organizers say more than 7,000 attended the 2009 festival.
