SUGAR HOUSE - A man is in jail following a bomb scare at the Sugar House post office at 1953 S. 1100 East.
Around 2:30 p.m. police received a call from a woman who said she overheard a man indicate to a Walgreens clerk he had a bomb in a suitcase. She said the man then walked across the street to the post office.

Undercover agents went inside and found the suitcase in the lobby and the man in the restroom.
They arrested the man and detained a woman who was with him.
An X-ray of the suitcase found no bomb, just books.
The post office was evacuated for about an hour and a half.
