A recent survey found only one in seven young adults in America could find Iraq on a map.

To address the problem, the Triple-A is kicking off a nationwide high school competition designed to enhance literacy in geography and travel.

The competition offers winners $158,000 in college scholarships.

All public, private and home school students in grades 9 through 12 are eligible.
