(Cedar City-AP) -- Six Cedar High School students have been arrested since Friday on drug charges, and police expect to make more arrests this week.
The investigation followed an anonymous tip that a 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy were selling the painkiller Lortab in the school.
School resource officers Dustin Orton and Jarod Brown determined that the 15-year-old had a legitimate prescription but was distributing his medication in the school with the help of his 16-year-old friend.
Police believe the boys have been selling the painkillers since early January at 35 cents to one dollars per pill.
The two were arrested Friday and charged with distribution of a controlled substance.
Two boys ages 14 and 17 also were arrested Friday and two more 15-year-old boys were arrested yesterday on charges of possession of a controlled substance.
