(KSL News) -- Bad blood between two brothers led to a two-hour stand-off for Salt Lake City police this morning.

Police were called in at 9 a.m. to 159 W. Paxton, after the younger brother of the suspect, 48-year old Paul M. Christensen, said his brother had threatened his life with a shot-gun.

Swat teams were able to apprehend Christensen just before eleven-- he's being charged with aggravated assault.

Christensen has a long history of violence... just a week ago the two brothers were involved in an altercation that resulted in the loss of the suspect's finger.
