SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A new AAA Utah report says gas prices throughout the state are steadily declining.
AAA Utah spokeswoman Rolayne Fairclough says gas prices have been stable since the end of October and most prices have fallen by a few cents since the start of November.
According to AAA Utah, the average price in Utah for a gallon of regular unleaded is $2.61. That is 3 cents lower than last month's survey on Nov. 10, but 99 cents higher than a year ago.
Twenty-four states have prices higher than Utah.
The current national average price for a gallon of gas is $2.63. This is 3 cents lower than last month's report and 91 cents higher than a year ago.
