(Salt Lake City-AP) -- He probably should have known that somebody was going to want that money back.
An Ogden man found nearly half-a-million dollars had been deposited into his checking account after a Colorado title company got an account number mixed up.
It took Wells Fargo bank a week to recognize the mistake. They froze the account, but police say the man had already spent 116-thousand dollars on three vehicles, and another 114-thousand dollars on various other purchases.
Police are going to try charging him with theft.
