Take just a minute to think about some of the wonderful foods or restaurants that you've experienced. Isn't one of your first thoughts after discovering something great to share it with someone else? Such is the case for Laura Kent-Jensen and her husband, Brad.

Laura and Brad lived in Spain for five years. While there, they developed a taste for fine Spanish wine. After returning to the United States in 2005, the Jensens settled in Heber City to be near their family. But they wanted to share their favorite Spanish wine discoveries with their friends here at home, so they became importers for both Spanish and Italian wine and launched Bon Vivant Imports.

Bon Vivant Imports has a repertoire of more than 100 different wines that are distributed all over the United States, with 25 available in Utah. The wines come from smaller, family-owned wineries, most of which have been hand crafted from estate-grown grapes for generations. Laura and Brad have personally visited every vineyard they purchase wine from, and what makes their operation unique is that their wines have such character they make the taster feel he has traveled to Spain.

While Laura feels Bon Vivant has already established a strong portfolio, she and Brad are continually updating and adding new, interesting wines whenever they find them. Over the next year, the Jensens plan to concentrate on Italian wines in the state of Utah, and they hope to soon have another 10 wines available here.

Laura says it's been rewarding to watch Bon Vivant Imports go from scratch to a successful company with a growing customer base. She and Brad have done their best to spread the word about their wines, many of which have now appeared in national wine publications. Here in Utah, the Bon Vivant wines can be found in the state liquor stores as well as in top restaurants and wine bars.

Bon Vivant Imports is unique in that it allows consumers to enjoy an authentic taste of both Spain and Italy.
