MURRAY -- MaKenzie West has another reason to believe in Santa Clause now. When she went to sit on Santa's lap at Fashion Place Mall Friday evening, she got an engagement ring.
West had no idea she wouldn't have to wait until Christmas for her one wish to come true. Her boyfriend, Richy Chansamoeun,orchestrated the big surprise, asking Santa to help make West his fiancee.
"I asked him: 'I just want one more present for the rest of my life and I'll be satisfied, to bring my princess into my life.' So, he delivered that to me," Chansamoeun said.
West gasped in surprise as he got down on one knee. She said "yes."
