Sammy Linebaugh reporting Possibly the only thing skiiers love more than snow, is a free lift pass!

Come this season, out-of-towners will get a free ride at all three Park City resorts just for flying to Utah!

Fall colors make some wish the snow would never come. For others, this week's storm is a gift from Mother Nature -- a sign this year, she won't keep skiers waiting so long.

Bill Malone/ Park City Chamber Bureau: "We have every reason to believe this could be one of our best years ever."

And not just because of the snowpack.

Park City's Chamber Bureau is hoping to entice out-of-towners to all three of its resorts -- Park City, Deer Valley and the Canyons -- with a quick start pass which offers free skiing to all visitors the same day their flight arrives.

Bill Malone: "There's about 111 flights that land before noon, so plenty of oppurtunity for people inmarkets from west coast to east coast to take advantage of a free day of skiing upon their arrival in Park City."

The goal is to show off Park City's proximity to the airport and keep the resort town on the radar of millions -- if not billions -- who saw it first during the Olympics.

Bill Malone: "We kind of use the analogy that it put us at the eye level of the supermarket shelf with all the good products out there."

So what if you live in Utah, fly in from out of town and want to catch a few runs? Can you take advantage of the quick start ski pass?

Bill Malone: "Nope, unfortunately it's not for Utah residents. But there are so many other programs out there for Utah residents. I know the three ski areas in Park City have tremendous deals in terms of local ski programs."

Krista Rowles/ Park City Mountain Resort: "The Farmer's Almanac is saying that the snow quality this year is going to be great, and all the snow we received in early September-- It's realy an inclination that this is going to be a great snow year."

And that could just be the best sales pitch of all.

In order to get the free ski pass you must present a photo i.d. with your address, along with your airline boarding pass and a voucher printed off the internet before travel.
