(KSL News) -- A well known LDS story of love and faith on the American frontier will become a big time hollywood movie.
Utah entrepreneur Larry Miller is funding a new movie based on the nine-volume 'Work & The Glory' series. It will be the creative work of some of the best hollywood veterans.
And it's not just for the local market. Producers believe audiences everywhere will enjoy the story's universal themes.
Scott Swafford, Producer: "It is primarily a love story and has all the elements that every great film should have. It has romance, drama, suspense and intrigue, and conflict and betrayal."
The film is in the early stages of development. Shooting begins this fall.
