SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah (AP) -- Family and friends are preparing to say their final goodbyes to the two people killed in a natural-gas explosion in Saratoga Springs.
Deputies say 24-year-old April Roper and 48-year-old Larry Radford --- a Questar worker -- died on Tuesday following the explosion.
Authorities say the explosion happened after a utility worker punctured a gas line yards away from Roper's home. Radford subsequently followed Roper down into her basement to check on her furnace and water heater. Moments later --- the house exploded.
Radford's funeral will be held tomorrow at noon at the Anderson and Sons Mortuary in American Fork. Roper's funeral will take place on Monday at 11 a.m. at an LDS church in Orem.
