(KSL News) -- Police believe an elderly woman arrested on federal drug charges may be part of an international drug ring.
76-year old Santos Amaro Higareda was arrested with her son and granddaughter after police searched her home and found one-and-a-half pounds of methamphetamine and hallucinogenic mushrooms.
Agents also recovered more than 140-thousand dollars in cash and turned up more than 230-thousand dollars in three bank accounts.
Narcotics officers believe the family was involved in an international drug-trafficking cartel.
