SOUTH SALT LAKE -- Police are looking for someone who stabbed a man and then stole his car.
It happened around 2:30 Wednesday morning outside the Maverik gas station and convenience store near 500 West and 3900 South.
South Salt Lake police say a group in a Chevy Cavalier pulled up to the man in a red Honda Civic and tried to carjack him. The man tried to defend himself, but one of the people in the group stabbed him then drove off in his car.
The other members of the group left in the Cavalier. Police located them a short time later at a nearby apartment complex and arrested two men and two women.
Police are still looking for the red Civic and the man who stole it.
The man who was stabbed was not seriously injured.
