SALT LAKE CITY -- In the U.S. Senate, Utah's delegation is getting ready for a fight against the proposed health care reform bill.
Even though the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) says fewer people will use a government-run public option for health care than previously stated by critics, it serves as little comfort to Sen. Bob Bennett.
"People that would otherwise get better plans elsewhere are being herded so that the public option becomes their only option," Bennett says.
Both he and Sen. Orrin Hatch think something will pass the Senate, just not the bill approved by the House.
"The overall general terms of the bill are very detrimental to our society," Hatch says.
A Senate version of the bill has not been released, as they wait for an official score from the CBO.
