ELDORADO, Texas (AP) -- A Texas jury is due to reconvene Monday to consider a sentence for a 38-year-old polygamist sect member convicted last week of sexual assault of a child.
Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints member Raymond Jessop faces up to 20 years in prison for having sex with the underage girl.
Prosecutors say the girl was brought to the Yearning For Zion Ranch at age 15 and entered a so-called "spiritual" marriage with Jessop. She became pregnant at 16.
