(Salt Lake City-AP) -- Federal law enforcement officials are looking for a robbery suspect who escaped from the Weber County Jail.

Joseph Manuel Reyes escaped from the jail last night but the US Attorney's office would not release the details of his escape.

Reyes was being held on federal charges in the robbery of a Logan Wells Fargo Bank February 4. He faces up to 20-years in federal prison if convicted.

Officials believe Reyes may have hopped a southbound UTA bus in Ogden.

The 26-year-old suspect is from Salinas, California.

He's described as five-feet-nine-inches tall, 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information is urged to call the U-S Marshals Service at 801-524-5693 or the F-B-I at 801-579-1400.
