ABC's Investigative Reporter Brian Ross is looking into the life and troubles of the shooter at Fort Hood, Texas yesterday - Nidal Hasan. There is no known connection to Al Quaida or any terrorist group, although last week he was reported to give away his furniture and copies of the Qur'an. After being transferred to Fort Hood, he received extensive weapons training - training he turned on his comrades yesterday. Click here to hear the full report.

Jim Ryan with ABC News reported on KSL this morning from the hospital where the suspect is in stable condition at this hour. We learned this morning that Hasan is paralzed from his injuries. He has not been interviewed yet. We have also learned that Hasan had been taking legal steps to try to get out of the military. Click here to hear the interview with Jim on KSL.
