(Salt Lake City-AP) -- Utah's unemployment rate inched up slightly last month, but the state still registered nearly nine-thousand more workers than at this time a year ago.
The unemployment rate for March was five percent, up from four-point-seven percent in February. That's according to the state Department of Workforce Services.
But there is good news. All industrial sectors of the economy are growing except for a small decline in natural resource employment and zero growth in information employment.
Analysts also lauded the growth of construction by 16-thousand jobs following almost three years of contraction.
