OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- A power outage hit northern Davis and southern Weber counties Sunday night, affecting up to 60,000 customers, Utah Power & Light said.
About 9 p.m., one or more strands of a 138,000-volt transmission line between the Syracuse and Riverdale substations came down at a Freeport Center parking lot in Clearfield, spokesman Kimball Hansen said.
The company was attempting to reroute power to the substations while crews were working to repair the line, he said.
Power is back on this morning for all customers.
